The ARCHITEXTURA series explores chaos at it simplest expression. The linear structures are born from few sparse points on the plan that branch out in three vectors separated at angles of more or less 120 degrees, with a difference of a fraction of degree randomly determined for each angle. This slight discrepancy makes each line non-parallel and gets amplified as they go by and bifurcate. The system gets more and more complex as new junctions are created. These complex structures come from this sensitivity to initial conditions: it’s the ORIGIN of chaos.

These chaos crystals remind urbanism, architecture, perspective and sketch drawing. Thus, the orientation the composition should have is up to the observer who must decide of the particular aesthetic of the purely abstract system. The ARCHITEXTURA series will end at omega, for a total of twenty-four artworks, a tribute to my masters from Ancient Greece, who are at the origin of that beautiful chaos that led to the evolution of scientific thinking and knowledge.
